HP Pre 3 to be released in UK before end August

Pre-pare yourself -- the HP Pre 3 lands in Britain this month. HP has confirmed the sequel to the mildly popular Palm Pre 2 will bring the new webOS software and apps to the UK before the end of August.
The Pre 3 is the successor to the Pre 2, packing a speedier 1.4GHz processor, 3.6-inch screen and more spacious keyboard. It uses HP's gorgeous and intuitive webOS software, which is styled like a deck of cards.
One of our favourite features is the 'Just Type' option, which lets you type something first and then figure out what you want to do with it afterwards -- whether it's searching the phone or the Web, starting an email or sending a text.

Apple Launching New iPhone in October, Not September

So those rumors claiming the iPhone 5 will debut in late September? They’re wrong.
Instead, it’s going to be an October surprise — the month in which Apple will be launching its next-generation iPhone.
Sources with knowledge of the situation say reports claiming AT&T has blacked out employee vacations during the last two weeks of September in preparation for the retail debut of the next iPhone are misinformed.

BlackBerry Bold 9900 price in the UK is right at £30 per month

Prices for the BlackBerry Bold 9900 have leaked out by way of uSwitch.com. The website reports the thinnest BlackBerry ever will be free on a £30.64 contract from T-Mobile, or just over £35 from Orange, Vodafone and O2. Three will also be selling the phone, but its prices are still under wraps.
We're suckers for a traditional BlackBerry, because of its fabulous keyboard. If you're a keen typist and you'd rather fire off emails quickly than faff around with apps, a BlackBerry can't be beat.
The Bold 9900 manages to pack the keyboard onto the thinnest case yet, which is only 10.5mm thick. That's still chubbier than the thinnest touchscreen smart phones, like a 9.3mm iPhone 4. But for BlackBerry, it's positively waifish.

Lenovo reveals 10.1-inch Windows 7-powered IdeaPad P1 with an Intel chip

Lenovo has unveiled two Honeycomb tablets, but that's not all, folks – the company hasn't forgotten Windows 7 fans and brought the 10.1-inch IdeaPad P1 with Microsoft's operating system. An Intel chip powers the IdeaPad P1, instead of the nearly ubiquitous ARM-based processors, but it aims to deliver the same if not better kick paired with up to 2GB of RAM and a choice of 32GB or 64GB of SSD memory. The biggest problem with Intel's chips lies in power management, but this time the company seems to have nailed it with battery life reaching up to 6 hours.

Apple introduces the new, faster MacBook Air

The physical design of the laptop is basically the same as the previous generation, with the super-thin, tapered aluminum body. Though, the MacBook Air did see the return of the backlit keyboard. As far as internals go, the core i5 processor is now standard, with an option to upgrade to a dual-core i7. The ultra-portable Mac now also comes standard with Thuderbolt.
