Facebook has just
rolled out an update to its Android
app. While there are no major new features, a couple of interesting
changes have been made such as full support for pages.
You can now view a full list of all the pages you Like, post as a page that you are admin of and tag pages in your status updates by using the “@” symbol — just like you would on the Facebook website. Additionally, the composer bar has been updated with a new design and various bugs have been fixed.
Facebook has been making some intriguing strides with its mobile efforts in recent months. Back in March, it announced a new unified mobile website and in June, it was reported that the company was working on a secret Web-based mobile platform called Project Spartan. Facebook also accidentally revealed details of its official iPad app hidden within the iPhone app code.
You can download the latest version of the app to your Android device here.
