After Penguin was released, search engine optimization (SEO) changed
dramatically for a lot of people. A brief period followed in which many
experts and SEO consultants were condemned and vilified for their
advice. Organic rankings were impacted right, left, and center, and
nobody had a definitive answer for what was really going on. Now, months
