Founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin in 1998, Google quickly became what many of us think as the king of the Internet. Some stats might not confirm the absolute leader in traffic, but it's for sure the backbone of the internet and the starting point for many people's exploration of the interweb. And, since it's sometimes hard to conceive sometimes just how big a virtual giant like Google is, here are some stats and facts that may give you an idea about that - from how it makes its revenue to how many people visit it every year.
